Remembering David Oluwale
A series of workshops with Leeds Beckett University students and the wider public exploring the life and legacy of David Oluwale, a Nigerian-British citizen who lived in Leeds from 1949 until his death in 1969. Through collaborative research, storytelling, creative writing and zine making, students and community members explored his experiences and reflected on how his life continues to shape the city today.
