Critical Research Service (2019) - Public activations at the Royal Academy of Arts with students of The Bartlett, UCL, MA Situated Practice.

The CRITICAL RESEARCH SERVICE! was formed in response to an invitation to exhibit works at the Royal Academy of Arts as part of an event called Alternate Languages: Confronting Boundaries. The day combined a series of immersive spatial activations, artworks, performances, workshops and discussions to explore the relationship between art, architecture and the institution. We provided three situated ‘acts’ throughout the day to engage with the public and collectively explore the boundaries between: art and architecture, public and private, site and non-site, theory and practice. This project was delivered with students of The Bartlett, UCL, MA Situated Practice: Nelson Beesley, Dieuwke Cappaert, Anastasia Perahia Dede, Luofei Dong, Eloise Maltby Maland, Ignacio Rivas, Ignacio Saavedra and Shivani Shah.
